Warriors In Pink

ByJessica Wellington Leave a Comment May 22, 2013

Disclosure: I was given the opportunity to review an item of clothing for Warriors in Pink. However, the writing, thoughts and opinions are my own.

warriors in pinkFord started Warriors in Pink to raise awareness about breast cancer. If you haven’t heard of this organization, it is important to know that it sponsors the Komen Race for the Cure and is regularly included in popular TV shows and magazines. It also receives endorsements by celebrities. Warriors in Pink has the goal of maintaining an open dialogue about breast cancer in hopes of saving lives through earlier diagnosis.

This year, Ford chose two men and nine women, all who are breast cancer survivors, to help promote the new line of Warriors in Pink gear and clothing. This group of brave men and women are known as the Warriors in Pink Models of Courage. You can find out more about them and read their inspiring stories on Facebook or by visiting Ford Cares .

Warriors in Pink is known for its very identifiable and trendy product line. From this line, 100 percent of the net proceeds go toward breast cancer charities. Since 2006, this has amounted to more than $4 million in donations from the sale of Warrior wear and gear.

I was really excited to receive the Sister-Hoodie. I love to wear hoodies with my work out clothes. This hoodie is so cute, however, I wear it all of the time. I really love the color of the hoodie and the design on the back. It is super comfortable and warm.

In addition to items for women and children, Warriors in Pink offers an amazing selection of clothing/accessories for men. I love this T-shirt and this tie. I think they would make great Father’s Day gifts.

My favorite feature of this line is the opportunity to design your own shirt. You can tailor a T-shirt with two lines of characters, a selection of symbols, color and size. I really like that the Warriors in Pink clothing and gear looks great and supports a very important cause. To check out the clothing and gear, visit Warrior Wear.
