Valentines Day Table Decorations

ByJessica Wellington 2 Comments January 24, 2013

valentine's day table decorations

I love decorating for special occasions. I put this table together for Valentines Day. I decorated early this year because the house seemed really empty after we took down the Christmas decorations.

I already had this flower arrangement. I decided to spruce it up by adding battery powered lights to it. I used lights I purchased from Ikea during the after Christmas sale. I didnt want to use plug in lights because I didnt want a huge cord laying across the table.

The pink heart mat (located underneath the flowers) is also from Ikea. It is actually a mat that goes under cakes. It comes in a multipack of different designs and sizes. The table runner is from Target.

You can also check out this craft project for Valentines Day heart chandelier decorations.

I bet this looks pretty with the lights turned down low.
