Valentine’s Day Mailbox

ByJessica Wellington 3 Comments January 23, 2013

Valentine's Day Mailbox

My daughter loved the Christmas chocolate advent calendar so much, I wanted to come up with a way to count down to Valentine’s Day. I decided to make this Valentine’s Day mailbox. I use the mailbox like an advent calendar. Every day, I put a tiny gift (a piece of candy, stickers or small inexpensive item) in the mailbox. Each morning, she loves to check her mail.

This project was so simple and didn’t require any glue or other supplies. I only used two items: a tiny mailbox and a sheet of Valentine’s Day window clings. I bought both of these items at Target. The mailbox was $1 and the sheet of clings was $2. I didn’t use all of the clings and let my daughter stick the remaining hearts on the door of a glass cabinet.
