Easy Patriotic Snacks

ByJessica Wellington Leave a Comment July 3, 2026

The Fourth of July is right around the corner! These easy patriotic snacks are perfect for parties, picnics or backyard barbecues. They’re quick to make, colorful and most importantly…your kids will love them. The big day is almost here, so this is a collection of last minute snacks you can prepare for your Fourth of July.

1. Red, White & Blue Fruit Skewers

Simple and healthy! Thread strawberries, banana slices, marshmallows and/or blueberries onto skewers.

2. Patriotic Popcorn Mix

Pop a big batch of popcorn. Divide into three bowls and toss with melted white chocolate mixed with red or blue food coloring. You can also add sprinkles for even more festive fun.

3. Flag Cheese & Cracker Tray

Arrange a selection of cheese that’s cut into star shapes. Add an assortment of crackers on the side. Bonus for adding star shaped crackers!

4. Jell-O Stars

Make red and blue Jell-O. Cut into stars with cookie cutters. Top each star with whipped cream for a fun dessert snack.

5. Patriotic Pretzel Rods

Add red food coloring and blue food coloring to two separate bowls of melted white chocolate. Make a separate bowl of plain white chocolate. Layer the chocolate on pretzel rods.
