My 2 and 1/2 year old daughter has gotten into the habit of twirling her hair when she is going to sleep. This was fine for a while…however, now that her hair has really come in, the knots that I face the next morning would challenge even the most experienced girl scout. The last knot took about 20 minutes to untangle and required the effort of both myself and my husband. I used detangling spray to help, but it was still very difficult to remove the knot. It’s funny how kids can challenge us in truly unexpected ways. Now, I just make sure I allow extra time in the morning for knot removal duty.
