This is our new German Shepherd puppy, Emma. She is 12 weeks old. She loves to chew on everything, including my hands and ankles. She loves to ride in the car, chase bubbles, dig in the dirt and bark at her own reflection.
I grew up with two German Shepherds. Since I’ve been married, my husband and I have owned two Golden Retrievers and two cats. Our last Golden passed away in March and one of our cats died last month. After losing two pets, in such a short time frame, I wasn’t sure I wanted another pet because it is so heartbreaking when they pass away.
However, I want my daughter to grow up with pets. So, when the opportunity to get Emma came about, we decided to go for it. We are so happy that we have a dog in our house again.
