Guardians of the Galaxy Review

ByCourt Wellington Leave a Comment August 12, 2014

I was provided with the opportunity to review this film. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

guardians of the galaxy posterGuardians of the Galaxy is an exciting sci fi film. Full of adventure, this movie will keep you interested until the very end.

Im a sci fi fan. I enjoy watching movies like Firefly and Star Wars. So, I knew this film would be a great viewing experience.

It is impossible to even think about getting bored during this film. There is plenty of action and a suspenseful plot.

This film is a great combination of comedy and action. You know the film is funny, when the entire theater is laughing out loud.

Guardians of the Galaxy is an action-packed space adventure. The film centers around Peter Quill, an adventurer. After double crossing his partner to get the orb, he quickly learns that it is a hotly sought item.

Quill’s main threat is Ronan, an evil villain, who wants the orb to exact revenge.

To overcome Ronan, Quill forms a truce with a bunch of unlikely characters. His new helpers include a raccoon named Rocket, a tree-like humanoid named Groot, the focused Gamora and Drax the Destroyer, who is focused on revenge.

This group of unlikely heroes has to make one last stand to save the galaxy.

This film is really cool to watch in 3d. The entire film is full of action scenes that are completely enhanced by 3d.

As always, keep an eye out for Stan Lee. He makes his usual Marvel film appearance.

The film stars stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, featuring Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Nova Prime Rael and Benicio del Toro as The Collector.

I really loved this movie. You should definitely check it out. Also, consider seeing it in 3d. It really enhances the movie’s action scenes.

Here is a special extended clip of the film:
