I was given a copy of this book to facilitate this review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Disney Mickey & Friends Go Green! A Family Guide to a Sustainable Lifestyle is a new book that is designed to serve as a reference. Everyone in your family will find something to enjoy inside the pages of this book.

This Disney book guides families to engage in activities that will help them live a greener lifestyle. The writing in this book takes hard to understand concepts and makes them relatable to children of all ages. It brings up a lot of topics that parents can discuss with their children regarding sustainability.

This hardcover book is full of interesting information, facts, tips and fun activities.

Topics included in Disney Mickey & Friends Go Green!

  • Understanding ecological footprintsmickey mouse go green!
  • Reduce, reuse, recycle for sustainability
  • Creating seasonal crafts
  • Staying active
  • Spending time outdoors
  • Eating locally
  • Making good choices
  • Giving
  • Growing your own food

Of course, a Disney book wouldn’t be complete, if it didn’t include our most favorite characters. Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy can be seen (in very colorful images) throughout the book.

The activities featured in this book will keep your children busy for hours at a time. There are fun projects like creating bird feeders and building a container garden.

My favorite parts of the book are the seasonal crafts. The guide features great kid-friendly crafts that fit in with each season of the year. The craft projects are adorable. I like that this book can be used for fun, educational opportunities all year long.

In the U.S. and Canada, you can purchase this Disney book at Barnes & Noble, Walmart and Target. It is also available online from major retailers like Amazon.

This Disney book is published by Edda USA.
