Dinosaurs Rock Show

ByJessica Wellington Leave a Comment May 22, 2013

Disclosure: I will be provided with the opportunity to attend this event.

dinosaurs rockOn June 8, the Dinosaurs Rock Show will be held at the Katy Visual and Performing Arts Center (KVPAC). Since my daughter is currently obsessed with dinosaurs, I’m really looking forward to this event.

This isn’t your ordinary dinosaur show. Not only has it been all over the United States, it was even featured in New Zealand. I like that the show is designed around audience participation. Kids will be selected from the audience to participate in the show, which will feature real fossils and museum exhibits.

After the show, kids can participate in a fossil dig and a shark tooth necklace activity. I know the shark tooth necklace will become my daughter’s favorite new accessory.

To find out more information and purchase tickets, visit KVPAC. Due to the small size of the theatre, capacity is limited. Parking is free of charge. For more information about Dinosaurs Rock, click here.

Update

My family and I attended the Dinosaurs Rock show. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Not only was it informative, it was also extremely entertaining.  Since my daughter is only three, I wasn’t sure the show would hold her attention. However, she was attentive the entire time. She also had a lot of fun participating in the show, searching for fossils and making a necklace.

Even though I’m an adult, I found the show very enjoyable. I was impressed with the level of audience participation. All of the children in the audience were given the opportunity to interact with the host. As a parent, I’m thrilled the show increased my daughter’s interest in paleontology.
