ByJessica Wellington Leave a Comment September 3, 2018

I received Cookiesaurus Christmas, from Disney-Hyperion, to facilitate this review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A loveable dinosaur and the Christmas holiday are a heartwarming combination. In Cookiesauras Christmas, written by Amy Fellner Dominy and Nate Evans, you will find out that a dinosaur is the ideal holiday mascot. This fun-to-read book is perfect for any time of year. The bright and engaging illustrations, by AG Ford, will make you look forward to turning each page.

I was excited to receive this book because it features two of my daughter’s very favorite things: dinosaurs and Christmas!

If you were a Christmas cookie, wouldn’t you want to obtain a coveted spot on Santa’s Christmas Eve plate? Cookiesaurs is an adorable dinosaur Christmas cookie who has big aspirations. He wants to be on Santa’s plate. He will not give up under any circumstances.

As I read this book with my daughter, I was pleasantly surprised by the important life lessons found within this whimsical story.

This book teaches that you should never give up on your dreams. Also, it shows that if things don’t work out, there might be something even better right around the corner.

After reading this book, my daughter cannot wait to make dinosaur Christmas cookies. So, I know we will enjoy reading it together on Christmas Eve after setting out dinosaur cookies for Santa. For more information, visit Disney-Hyperion.
