This is a really fun Elf on the Shelf idea. String a rope, string or Christmas beads from one part of your home to another. Then, have your Elf on the Shelf zip-line across your home.

My daughter’s elves are very crafty. They actually used her favorite princess shoes to ride on the zip-line.
