We are huge fans of the Boxcar Children series! The books are great for young readers. I’m sure your kids will be excited to learn that this popular series is about to hit the movie screen!
Boxcar Children Surprise Island is based on the second book from the series. Even though the Alden children have a home with their grandfather, they still have plenty of fun and adventures!
When they learn they will be spending the summer on their private island, they meet a new friend who may have a secret!
This animated film will be in theaters for one day. On May 8, your family can attend a special after-school showing. It will feature a special introduction and exclusive short program with the producer/director of the film, Dan Chuba. He will discuss adapting the book into a movie and the overall process of creating an animated film.
