Thanksgiving Upcycle Craft

ByJessica Wellington Leave a Comment November 19, 2013

You know those super cute glass Martinelli’s Apple Juice and Apple Cider bottles that look like apples? My family loves this juice and cider, so we always have extra bottles leftover. This year, I decided upcycle one of the glass bottles. Upcycle is just a fancy way of repurposing an item.

We decided to paint one of the bottles and make it into a fall vase for Thanksgiving. This is a very kid-friendly project. My daughter helped mix the colors and paint the bottle. She also picked out the flowers for the vase.

Instead of tossing this bottle into the trash, consider the possibilities. Kids love to paint and they love flowers. Put the two together and you have a great Thanksgiving upcycle craft that doesn’t cost a ton of money.
