Summer Smoothie Recipes

ByJessica Wellington 1 Comment May 29, 2014

summer smoothie recipes

I love smoothies. They are a great way to make a quick and healthy meal or snack. It is so much fun to be able to drink your breakfast, especially if you are in a hurry.

I’m calling this post summer smoothie recipes because the hot weather always makes me want to drink frozen beverages. I don’t know about you, but I don’t like turning on my oven or stove when it is super hot outside. These smoothies are a great way to make a healthy meal without using heat.

Here are some of my favorite smoothie recipes from the Life of the Party linkup. If you want to participate, stop back by every Thursday night at 7 p.m. central. We’d love to have you join us by linking up your favorite post.

My easy  smoothie is full of yogurt and fruit. My daughter loves that it is purple. It is a great way to start the day.

Kleinworth & Co. made this simple blueberry smoothie. While this recipe is super easy, it doesn’t seem to sacrifice on flavor.

Very Vicky created this extremely fruity strawberry, mango, peach, pineapple smoothie. I can only imagine that this packs a fruit flavored punch.

Belle of the Kitchen developed a fun recipe for an almond buttercup green smoothie. This recipe features almond butter and looks like a protein packed smoothie.

Wine and Glue made this refreshing pina colada smoothie. This tropical smoothie looks like a great beverage to enjoy on a hot summer day.

My Life of Travels and Adventures featured this yummy looking orange vanilla smoothie. This recipe features Carnation Breakfast Essentials and could easily serve as a quick meal substitute.

Beauty Through Imperfection posted about a great start smoothie. This beverage features a blend of strawberries, mangos and bananas-a winning combination!

Love Bakes Good Cakes developed a recipe for a chocolate coconut green smoothie. This chocolate smoothie also features coconut yogurt. This flavor combination looks great.

I hope you enjoy this roundup of smoothie recipes! If I’ve featured you in this post, visit the Life of the Party Featured Button page to grab the featured button.
