Oatmeal Cookie Pancakes

ByJessica Wellington 1 Comment January 14, 2013

If you love oatmeal cookies, you will enjoy whipping up a batch of these delicious pancakes.

I love preparing these pancakes. It is so easy to throw all of the ingredients into the blender.

Not only are they simple to prepare, they taste just like an oatmeal cookie.

To give these pancakes their fun heart shape, use a cookie cutter. After I cooked the pancakes, I used a large heart cookie cutter to cut out the shapes.

I also took half a strawberry and cut a notch in the top to make a heart shape. These pancakes are the perfect Valentine’s Day morning breakfast.

Oatmeal Cookie Pancakes

Ingredients:

2 cups milk
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp brown sugar
dash of cinnamon
3/4 cup oats

Instructions:

Put all of the wet ingredients in a blender and incorporate. Add all of the dry ingredients, minus the oats, and blend. Once mixed thoroughly, add the oats. Blend until the mixture reaches a smooth consistency.

Heat a griddle to 350. Melt enough butter to cover the griddle and cook each pancake until cooked through. Top with powdered sugar and the syrup of your choice.

You can serve these pancakes with powdered sugar or syrup. Either way, they taste delicious!
