I don’t need an excuse to put up my Christmas tree early! However, as we were putting up our Halloween decorations, I thought it would be super fun to turn our glittery, sparkly Christmas tree into a spooky Halloween decoration. With just a few items from Target, I was able to transform my tree into a Halloween showstopper that is perfect for this spooky time of year.

I have a rotating tree stand that I picked up at Target last year. Not only does my tree constantly rotate, there isn’t a corner that is hidden from sight, which works really well for this project.

I purchased all of the supplies for this Halloween Christmas tree at Target. I picked up a bunch of plush spiders and two packs of gauze.

You could easily use the really stringy spider web decorations. However, I didn’t want those tiny strands to get stuck all over my tree. So, by using the gauze, it makes clean up much easier. Plus, the gauze looks surprisingly like spider webs.

This is a fun Halloween project for the entire family! Everyone will enjoy making your custom spider web wrapped tree!

To create this great Halloween decoration, I simply cut the material and wrapped the Christmas tree. We then placed spiders all over the tree. I chose these spiders because they have bendable legs, which made placing them on the tree and gauze much easier.

The tree looks even better in the dark! To add the fun, we hung a giant motion-activated spider from the ceiling next to the tree.

After Halloween, I plan on removing the decorations from the tree. I will just leave it up until Christmas. It is a win-win because I love decorating and get to spend more time enjoying my favorite tree!
