To put the Elf On The Shelf in a hot air balloon, we used a balloon, two pieces of string and a tiny basket. We taped one string to the outside of the top of the balloon. We then used a second piece of string to attach the basket to the bottom of the balloon. Finally, we put the elf in the basket and hung the balloon up high. My daughter was so excited to find the elf in a hot air balloon.
