Our German Shepherd, Emma, is an important part of our family. Aside from being my daughter’s best friend, she is a great dog.

When it comes to feeding her snacks, we like to choose high quality products. Since she loves treats, we always keep them in stock at our house.

When I heard about the Purina Beyond White Meat Chicken Cutlets Natural Dog Snacks, I decided to pick up a 9 oz. bag for our four-legged family member.

During my last trip to Target, I easily found these snacks in the pet section of the store.

At first glance, I was impressed by the look of the treats. I also loved that chicken is the number one ingredient and that it doesn’t contain corn, wheat or soy.

Not only is this treat made in the United States (Arkansas), it doesn’t contain artificial colors flavors or preservatives.

I couldn’t wait to let Emma try one of the Purina Beyond White Meat Chicken Cutlets Natural Dog Snacks. When we got home, my daughter gave her one of the treats. She loved them! Whenever we get the bag out, Emma gets really excited. I’m so glad these are a huge hit.

In addition to appreciating a good treat, Emma also loves to go on walks with our family. Whenever we go on a walk, we take a toy, her leash and dog treats. We usually stop and play in an open area in our neighborhood. I think it is important to make sure our pet gets plenty of healthy exercise.

Since I don’t keep all of our walk “supplies” in one area of our house, we often have to spend time collecting everything. To make things easier, I decided to make a DIY dog leash holder.

While I was at Target, I picked up all of the supplies for this fun project. I also picked up a new leash and toy.

I hung our DIY dog leash holder on the wall with Emma’s leash, treats and a toy. (I used the hole in the top of the treat bag to hang it on one of the hooks.)

Since this is covered with chalkboard paint, I used chalk to write a message that we were going out for a walk with Emma. It adds a lot of fun to our DIY dog leash holder.
