See how I used a Walt Disney World souvenir to create this fun Disney themed school lunch.
Back in May, we attended the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration. We had an amazing trip! During our visit, we purchased many souvenirs. While we love every purchase, one item has become a favorite in our house.
I bought a simple, inexpensive Mickey Mouse shaped sandwich cutter at Main Street Confectionary in the Magic Kingdom.
How can such a simple item be one of our favorite souvenirs? Easy. This sandwich cutter has allowed us to continue the Disney magic even after we returned home. We’ve made everything from Mickey Mouse shaped cookies to rice krispy treats.
Now, thanks to this sandwich cutter, my daughter had a Disney themed school lunch!
Disney Themed School Lunch Idea
For my daughter’s first day of school, I wanted to do something extra fun with her school lunch. I put together a super simple DIY pizza kit.
DIY Mickey Mouse Pizza School Lunch
- Store bought pizza crust
- Cheese
- Mini pepperoni
- Cheddar cheese
- Pizza sauce
- Mickey Mouse cookie cutter
- Cupcake papers
- Use the cookie cutter to create a Mickey Mouse shaped pizza crust.
- Line a container with cupcake papers.
- Fill each with sauce, cheese and mini pepperoni.
- Pack in a school lunch box with ice packs.
During lunch, your child can make their very own Mickey Mouse shaped pizza. They will have so much fun with this interactive Disney themed school lunch.
If your child prefers other toppings, you could easily add those to the cupcake papers. Also, you dont have to use the cupcake papers. Although, I think it adds more fun to the lunch box.
You can buy the same sandwich cutter at the Disney Store. It is a great way to enjoy Disney fun all year long.
