Leave it to Disney to put out the best Halloween books for kids of all ages! While there are numerous options, I am going to cover a few favorites in this post.

5 Minute Halloween Stories

Not only do these stories feature popular Disney characters, they are spooky enough for Halloween. This book is perfect for fall and will be enjoyed by boys and girls.

Isle of the Lost Graphic Novel

(affiliate) Isle of the Lost Graphic Novel is based on the first book in the#1 New York Times best-selling series about Descendants!

Perfect for readers of all ages, it features a comic book format. The story follows the evil villains that were banished to the Isle of the Lost. Many years later, their kids have their very own stories. As they struggle with their wicked heritage, they also see that being good isn’t a bad option.

Even if you’ve seen the film and read the books, this graphic novel is still an enjoyable take on the story line. The Isle of the Lost graphic novel is written by Melissa de la Cruz and Robert Venditti. It is illustrated by Kat Fajardo.

Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas

The Nightmare Before Christmas is a classic book that is always a good idea at Halloween, but it is also the 25th anniversary! Tim Burton’s (affiliate) The Nighmare Before Christmas is a childhood favorite. Follow the story of Jack Skellington as he kidnaps Santa Claus! Jack is a skeleton from Halloweentown who discovers that Christmas is the really best holidag. When he decides to take Santa’s place, things go very, very badly. In the end, he finally learns the true meaning of Christmas.

Are You Scared, Darth Vader?

This Star Wars themed Disney book is so much fun! If you are a Star Wars fan, you would probably never imagine Darth Vader getting scared! This hilariously creepy book, (affiliate) Are You Scared, Darth Vader? goes through many different spooky things that are supposed to scare Darth Vader. The book gets even more entertaining when a group of kids try to play with Darth Vader. Even then, he isn’t very easily spooked! However, you may just be surprised to find that he does, indeed, have something that scares him!

Star Wars fans of all ages will seriously love this book. Even though it is a picture book, adults will also find it amusing. This hilarious Disney Halloween book is written and illustrated by Adam Rex.
