Corn Dog Pops are a really fun to make with your kids.

My sister gave me the Babycakes Cake Pop Maker for Christmas. I decided to use it and make bite sized corn dogs. They turned out great!

Corn Dog Pops Recipe

Ingredients:

  • One box Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix
  • Package of hot dogs
  • Cake Pop Maker (or you can use a mini muffin pan)

Instructions:

  1. Mix the corn muffin mix according to the instructions.
  2. Cut each hot dog into five pieces.
  3. Fill the bottom of the pop maker with the corn muffin mix.
  4. Add a hot dog piece to the center of each corn mix filled pop mold.
  5. Cook according to the pop maker instructions.

You dont have to make these in the cake pop maker. You can use a mini muffin pan. If using the muffin pan, pour the batter into the cups. Next, stick a piece of hot dog into the middle of each cup. Bake according to package instructions.

That is very cool. I don’t have one of those babycakes makers but it looks like it would be fun. I really like corndogs and my grandkids do, too, so that would be a healthier alternative. Thanks for the idea.

Just stopped by to welcome you to Collective Bias and these caught my eye. Seems like a super simple recipe and delicious too.

What a neat idea! I didn’t know you could do anything other than make cake pops with those things.
