I’m an Army brat who grew up in Germany. My husband and I met in college. We have a four-year old daughter. We also have a very energetic German Shepherd puppy.
I started this site as a way to share family fun ideas. As a mom, I know how hard it can be to keep my family entertained. I try to come up with new ways to inspire family fun.
I LOVE Starbucks and snow. I love to decorate for any holiday. I have holiday decorations stored all over my house, under beds, in closets, in the garage and in the attic. You get the picture. I love to come up with ways to decorate my house for holidays because my daughter loves it. To be honest, so do I.
I love old movies and TV shows. My favorite show of all time is a toss up between I Love Lucy and Seinfeld.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in Business Management. I have many years of public relations experience, including political campaigns. I worked for several newspapers as a reporter, photographer and editor.
I love to write. In addition to this site, you can currently find my articles in Parade Magazine and my monthly column in Houston Community Newspapers.
