My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks

On Oct. 28, My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks will be available on Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo. Shout! Factory in collaboration with Hasbro Studios is releasing this DVD in the U.S. and Canada.

My Little Pony Equestria Girls was released in fall 2013. When Twilight Sparkle’s crown was stolen from the Crystal Empire, she pursues the thief, Sunset Shimmer. Little does she know, she is following Sunset Shimmer into an alternate world and ends up turning into a teenage girl!

In order to return to Equestria, Twilight has to learn how to fit into a strange new world. She has to defeat Sunset Shimmer in a competition to become crowned Princess at the Fall Formal at Canterlot.

The disc includes audio commentary, eight prequel shorts and sing alongs.

My daughter watched this with my nieces. Let’s put it this way: I had to restart the movie numerous times. They really loved it. They danced and sang along with the equestria girls. They had a blast. The songs are so catchy and upbeat. The movie was like an instant dance party right in our living room.

The DVD is available at Target, Walmart and Kmart. Each store is offering different special deals on the DVD.
