I’m always looking for the best dishwasher detergent. If you have a busy family like mine, you know that the dirty dishes can really pile up. The last thing I want to do is rewash dishes, after they’ve already been through the dishwasher.

While I value a great dishwasher detergent, I also worry about harmful chemicals. Finish Power & Free uses less harsh chemicals, while still cleaning your dishes. I’m enthusiastic about this dishwasher detergent because you don’t need to pre rinse your dishes.

So, when I went to Walmart to do a little grocery shopping, I picked up a package of this revolutionary dishwasher detergent.

We headed to the dish soap aisle to locate Finish Dishwasher Detergent. Once we made our purchases, we headed home.

Once we got home, we decided to have some fun and put Finish Power & Free dishwasher detergent to the test.

We staged our very own dirty dish competition. My four-year-old was more than happy to help us make a mess!

The Home Team

Finish Power & Free dishwasher detergent promises to clean dishes while using less harsh chemicals.

Competitior #1

While this combination tastes delicious, it can be very messy. Smashed banana topped with chocolate sauce is a very worthy opponent.

Competitor #2

These condiments are the heavyweights of the dirty dish world. We wanted to see how mustard and ketchup smeared all over a plate would hold up to Finish Power & Free.

Competitor #3

This type of dish is a mess. There is nothing worse than a dish covered in melted cheese. We wanted to see if Finish Power & Free could handle the job.

We placed all of the dirty dishes into the dishwasher.

We then loaded the detergent compartment with a Finish Power & Free.

After the dishwasher finished its cycle, we pulled the dishes out to check out the results.

Finish Power & Free was the winner!

You could also say that I’m a winner too. I’m using a great dishwasher detergent that produces sparkling, clean dishes! I love that I didn’t have to pre rinse them!

Isn’t it great when you can buy a product that makes life easier? To make things even better, Walmart has a Rollback for the product until October. It is great to be able to save money while buying an amazing dishwasher detergent.
