Pretty Spring DIY Projects

ByJessica Wellington 2 Comments March 13, 2014

Need a little Spring inspiration? There is something about the change in weather that brings out the creativity. I love DIY projects. They are so much fun. With the weather getting nicer (for some of us anyway), it is an ideal time to start a new project.

I love creating pretty things for my home. Sure, we can all go to the store and buy something for our homes. However, I think it is so much more fun to make it myself.

Several of my blogger friends and I host a super fun link up party every Thursday at 7 p.m. central. Here is a list of my favorite link ups from the party last week. All of the pretty projects remind me of Spring. So, check out these great DIY ideas and get ready for the warmer weather!

The first two projects are from I Should Be Mopping The Floor. The first project is a pretty DIY Spring Paper Flower Wreath. I’m obsessed with the color combination and adorable burlap bow. It looks just like Spring hanging on a door! The second project is a tutorial on how to age terra cotta. Those pots look like they were purchased at an expensive home and garden store. Can you believe she created this look from plain jane terra cotta pots?

I love the Monogrammed No Sew Toiletry Bags  from Sweet and Salty Sugar Boys. Adding initials to an ordinary bag, creates a more upscale look. My favorite part about this project: it is NO SEW! You don’t have to get out the sewing machine to create these trendy bags.

Thirty Handmade Days featured a colorful and bright Adorable Welcome Spring Canvas and Printable. I love the bows and think this sign is too cute. She even provides a printable to help you create this fun sign for your own home.

The DIY Decorative Tray from Life Laugh Rowe is stunning. I’ve seen trays like this in home decor stores selling for top dollar. Now, you can make it yourself for very little money. I absolutely love the addition of the leather handles.

These Grain Sack Lavender Sachets from Shabby Love are amazing! What better way to add class to your closet? There are so many places you could hang these great-smelling sachets. I also think they would make adorable gifts.

I hope you’re inspired to create one of these amazing Spring DIY projects!
