Molding

ByJessica Wellington 2 Comments August 28, 2012

molding

We’ve all seen picture frame molding used in a variety of rooms. Most of the time, it is comprised of thin, plain strips of wood painted and glued together. While this adds a lot of ambiance to any room, molding can be so much more. At a restaurant recently, this molding caught my eye. I like the idea that it mimics something that would be used to frame a very ornate piece of art. It definitely added a new dimension to the room, without being too plain or gaudy.

Interesting idea. Never thought of doing that. My husband is a remodeling contractor – he could probably do something awesome stuff with picture frames.

I never thought of doing it either. I think the picture frames would look really great!
