What is your favorite cookbook?

ByJessica Wellington 4 Comments September 5, 2012

Welcome to Wednesday ? #1.  Thanks to everyone who submitted a question.

This week’s question:  What is your favorite cookbook?

Well, I love cookbooks. As a matter of fact, I love to collect cookbooks, the older the better. While I haven’t encountered a cookbook I haven’t liked, I do have a trusty, old favorite, The Better Homes and Gardens New CookBook.

I like this book because it is full of classic, easy recipes. It also contains helpful information about basic cooking and baking methods.

I started using this cookbook in college and still refer to it more than a decade later (yikes, I just aged myself!). On a side note, this cookbook makes a great graduation or wedding gift.

Hi – thanks for stopping by my blog, and thanks for the follow! I'm your newest follower. I do have this cookbook too … it is fantastic for a basic recipe. As for a favorite probably my old favorite from Sunset Mangazine full of Diner Recipes – best cookbook ever!

I have one of those cookbooks! I got it about 20 years ago. haha
It IS a great reference tool because it tells a lot of foundation rules of cooking that you don't find in plain recipe style books.
