Disney has launched a sweepstakes and an instant win game to support the upcoming “Oz The Great and Powerful.” This movie centers around the origins of L. Frank Baum’s wizard character. The movie opens in the U.S. on March 8, 2013. The promotion runs through Jan. 31, 2013 and offers a grand prize and instant win prizes.
This sweepstakes is inspired by the wizard’s journey and invites fans to tweet their New Year’s resolutions, using #DisneyOz, for a chance to win the grand prize, a 4-day/3-night trip to Seattle, Washington, for two.
Visit the official “Oz the Great and Powerful” Facebook page to watch the tweets as they pave the way to the Emerald City. You can click on select bricks to instantly win prizes like HSN gift cards, Visa cards, Starbucks cards, copies of the L. Frank Baum Book “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz,” signed movie posters and other “Oz The Great and Powerful” products.
