I love going to the movies, especially premieres. However, I hate waiting in long movie lines. For the premiere of The Hobbit-An Unexpected Journey, moviegoers at Cinemark 19 in Katy, have the opportunity to avoid long lines and attend an exclusive Hobbit Inspired Tolkien Fan Party. This party is being hosted by professional event planners, so it is sure to be a memorable experience.
This exciting event will include free Middle Earth inspired food, drinks, trivia, Tolkien door prizes and a chance to win a ticket to the 2013 conference about Tolkien and his works, “Celebrating the Hobbit.” Guests are encouraged to attend in Hobbit themed attire (no masks or weapons are allowed) and participate in a costume contest during the event. There will also be a special photo opportunity, complete with a “green screen,” which will allow guests to be immersed into an authentic Hobbit inspired background.
