Laugh-Out-Loud With Toy Story 4 In 4DX

ByCourt Wellington Leave a Comment June 28, 2019

I was given the opportunity to watch Toy Story 4 in 4DX to facilitate this review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Toy Story 4

It has been quite some time since I watched any of the Toy Story movies. Because of my daughter’s age, she has been kind of in between movies. She was too young when Toy Story 3 was released and never crossed paths with any of the characters until now. After watching Toy Story 4,  I have a feeling we will be revisiting 1 – 3 in the very near future.

Whether or not you are a fan of Toy Story, young or old, watching it in 4DX is a great experience. From rushing across the lawn in the rain, to burning rubber as you jump from one cabinet to another, there is plenty of fun 4DX interaction with this film.

This hilarious film has plenty of action and fun characters. My daughter cannot stop talking about Bo Peep, her favorite character. She thinks she is strong, confident and fashionable. Luckily, Bo has a big part in Toy Story 4.

Toy Story 4 Bo Peep

I love how the 4DX ride is integrated so smoothly into the Toy Story 4 movie-watching experience. You don’t feel like they are forcing it. The equipment melts away and it lets you (all of your senses!) feel it. Ok, taste is a bit of a stretch, but the buttered popcorn and soda worked for me. My daughter swears she could taste several things in the movie, but I will leave it at that….

In my opinion, this movie has more interaction with the people world. There are plenty of scenes that involve hiding and playing “toy.” I can only imagine what all of my lost toys are doing today.

It is hard to pick a favorite scene, but I would have to go with the assisted driving scene. You will know it when you see it.

So, for a fun family movie-watching experience, check out Toy Story in 4DX! The entire family will love it!
