National Geographic Kids Weird But True! Christmas Gift Selection

It’s the time of year when you are beginning to check things off of your Christmas lists…especially for your kids. While toys are always a ton of fun, National Geographic Kids has a wide variety of books that are not only entertaining, but will teach your kids a lot about life, science and the world.

Weird But True! 10

National Geographic Kids Weird But True Facts

This set of books is geared toward ages 8-12. Not only have books 1-9 been updated and completely refreshed, they include even more facts! Each book features 350 facts! So, if you get the set, you will be presenting your children with the opportunity to learn 3,500 educational facts! These books are always popular with kids of all ages. They feature weird facts, such as: ears are self-cleaning and itching is contagious!

Throughout the pages of each book, kids can learn all kinds of zany facts about space, science, geography, food, pop culture and a ton of other topics. Not only will the weird facts appeal to kids, the illustrations are also a ton of fun.

From experience, my daughter reads these books over and over again. She never tires of reading about interesting facts. Plus, the interesting information also make fun conversation topics!

From beginning to end, this book features fun facts about Greek gods, heroes, monsters, quests, muses and famous philosophers. Although the book features plenty of information, it has a weird National Geographic Kids twist! So, you can be assured your kids will be entertained while learning all about Greek mythology.

There are doodling prompts, crossword puzzles, mazes, picture puzzles and so much more! The unique format features a page of information with a corresponding page that allows for creativity. Kids can doodle, draw or color directly in the book. For example, your child can learn about an ice cream truck that serves cold treats to dogs.
