We recently went to the KIDZ BOP Live concert. It was a blast! Since we are huge fans of the group, I was thrilled to have a chance to talk to Julianna from KIDZ BOP.
KIDZ BOP is a group of kids that perform songs for kids. They take the most popular songs and transform them into kid-friendly entertainment.
Julianna is a 13-year-old member of the group who is from Texas! She was really excited to perform near her hometown of Houston. “I love Houston and getting to see everyone,” she said.
She has been with the group for almost two years.
If you’ve seen Julianna in concert or in a music video, you will definitely notice that she is a professional with a lot of talent. She has been singing since the age of 4 and dancing since the age of 7. “I’ve always loved it because it’s really fun,” she said.
While she has traveled and had a lot of amazing experiences as a member of the group, one aspect really stands out. Her most memorable moment was when the group traveled out of the country to Toronto.
Several weeks ago, the group also traveled to the Dominican Republic and performed at the Hard Rock Hotel. Julianna said the experience, “was so much fun.”
As you can imagine, the KIDZ BOP kids are a tight-knit group. They are all great friends who love working together. “It’s super fun getting to perform with my KIDZ BOP family,” said Julianna.
In addition to performing with each other, they attend school together. Julianna enjoys learning and loves science and math. She wants to be a mechanical engineer when she grows up.
When she isn’t busy practicing or studying, Julianna has a lot of hobbies including singing, dancing, playing volleyball and swimming. She also loves to hang out with her family and friends.
Julianna is super friendly and enjoys meeting KIDZ BOP fans. “It’s really great being a role model for other kids,” she said.
On the most recent CD, KIDZ BOP 38, she has two favorite songs: I Like It and Sit Next To Me. “We loved recording every song,” she said.
Julianna encourages kids to attend a live KIDZ BOP concert. “It’s really fun and there are a lot of surprises,” she said.
While she doesn’t experience a lot of stage fright, she does get a little nervous and excited before a show. One of the KIDZ BOP members, Olivia, termed it “nervcited.”

While she is a talented performer, Julianna is still a regular kid who cannot wait for Halloween. “I’m never too old for trick-or-treating,” she said.
After speaking with Julianna, I got the impression that she is one amazing kid. She wants to say, “Thank you to family and friends for coming to my show and for all of the support.”
