If you love chocolate chip cookies, check out this easy and delicious scone recipe.

chocolate chip cookie scones with textThere are a ton of recipes out there for basic chocolate chip scones. I’m sure they are delicious. However, I wanted something more from my scone recipe.

Last year, I set out on a mission to create a batch of chocolate chip scones that tasted like my favorite cookies.

I tested this recipe several times, tweaking it to create the ultimate chocolate chip cookie scone. I call these chocolate chip cookie scones because of the flavor. The texture is what you would expect from a scone.

This recipe is a family favorite. These scones taste a lot like chocolate chip cookies. They are incredibly delicious. Even my husband, who isn’t exactly a fan of scones, devours these treats.

I use mini chocolate chips because I prefer them. I like the way they add a little bit of chocolate flavor to every bite. You could easily use full sized chips or chocolate chunks.

I hope you enjoy these delicious scones!
