My family loves Star Wars™. We are really looking forward to the upcoming movie release.

In college, when we were dating, we started a tradition. We went to the first prequel film on opening night.

We continued the tradition and never missed a single opening night of any prequel film. We’ve waited in long lines and even went straight to the movie after getting in from a long road trip. It’s been so much fun.

Now that we have a daughter who loves Star Wars™, we enjoy it as a family. We hope to continue our tradition and catch the new movie on opening night.

As opening night approaches, we decided to come up with a fun Star Wars™ themed treat.

During my last trip to Walmart, I decided to stock up on several new Star Wars™ themed products.

First, I headed to the refrigerator cases to pick up a box of the awesome new Star Wars™Yoplait Go-Gurt.

Next, I headed to the cereal aisle. There were so many great General Mills options. I decided to pick up a box of Cookie Crisp cereal.

On my way down the aisle, I noticed a box of Star Wars™ Honey Nut Cheerios®. I picked one up as well.

We headed home and couldn’t wait to make something super creative with these amazing products.

The Star Wars™ packaging is so much fun. My daughter really loves it.

The yogurt is really cool. each tube is glow in the dark and features an iconic Star Wars™ weapon.

When we opened the boxes of cereal, we found really neat toys inside. My daughter loves the toys. Each one features a scene from Star Wars™.

Since these products just lend themselves to an amazing breakfast, we decided to make a super fun frozen breakfast bar.

Since we are talking about Star Wars™, we decided to call them galactic battle debris bars.

In Star Wars™, after a battle, there is a lot of galactic debris in various sizes, shapes and colors. I figured this was a good theme for our bar.

To make our bars live up to their name, we decided to layer the ingredients to create different textures and colors.
