Turn Your Next Road Trip Into A Snackation

ByJessica Wellington Leave a Comment August 18, 2015

This #SNACKATION post is sponsored by The J.M. Smucker Company. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This summer, we’ve been traveling a lot. From local destinations, to driving out of state, we’ve been spending many hours in the car.

Even though we’ve been visiting a variety of locations, one thing has remained constant on all of our trips: the snack bag.

If you have children, you know that a snack bag is crucial to being well equipped on a long trip.

I usually make two snack bags. I pack a large bag with snacks for everyone. I also pack a smaller soft cooler for my daughter to keep in the back seat. This way, she can easily enjoy her favorite snacks during our journey.

Since we are heading to Dallas soon, I decided to stock up on snacks for our trip. To do so, I visited my go to SNACKATION destination, my local Walmart.

First, I picked up Jif To Go Dippers. I love that these convenient to-go snacks include peanut butter and pretzels in a neat container.

Next, I picked up a box of Smucker’s Fruit Fulls. I think these snacks are great. They are an easy, mess-free way to eat pure blended fruit. Plus, my daughter thinks it is so much fun to eat this snack directly from the package.

Finally, I visited the freezer section to pick up a box of my daughter’s very favorite snack: Uncrustables. I don’t think she could make it through a single day without these delicious peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Our road trip is going to be a blast because I loaded up on great snacks for our car.
