I was intrigued and somewhat skeptical when I came across a strange looking avocado known as the SlimCado. It boasts 35 percent less calories and 50 percent less fat than a regular avocado. My verdict—–it is just OK. The flavor is not as intense as a regular avocado and the texture is not as creamy. When I mixed it into a dip, it became somewhat runny. In the future, I will stick to purchasing regular avocados.
