Elizabeth’s Rosemary Lemonade

This delicious lemonade has a surprising twist: rosemary. You will love this variation.
Ingredients
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 lemons
  • 4-6 sprigs of rosemary
  • Pitcher full of cold water
Instructions
  1. In a pot make a simple syrup by combining one cup of sugar, one cup of water and a few pieces of rosemary. Bring the mixture to a boil and then lower the temperature and simmer for 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside until cooled.
  2. Once the syrup has cooled add it to a large pitcher.
  3. Fill the pitcher with cold water.
  4. Roll two lemons on your counter to release the juice. Cut each lemon in half and squeeze into the pitcher.
  5. Serve in a glass with a sprig of fresh rosemary.
