Peppermint White Hot Chocolate
- 3 cups milk
- 1 cup half and half
- 1 cup white chocolate chips + ¼ cup for melting
- ¼ tsp. peppermint extract
- ½ tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 candy cane
- 1 crushed candy cane
- Whipped cream
- In a pan, over low heat, melt the milk, half and half and white chocolate. Stir constantly.
- Once everything is melted and combined, remove from heat and add the extracts.
- Stir and set aside. Melt ¼ cup white chocolate chips on a plate and coat the bottom of the candy cane. (It is going to be a fun stir stick.)
- Using the same chocolate, coat the rim of your mug and roll in the crushed candy cane.
- Pour the peppermint white hot chocolate into your mug, top with whipped cream and insert the candy cane stir stick.
